The Baltimore Ravens may once again turn to Tyler Huntley when they face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football. It’s a familiar story, one that was written a few years ago. If Lamar Jackson can’t play, Huntley would get another chance against a team he’s already beaten. The last time these franchises met, Huntley guided Baltimore to a 17-9 victory, completing nine of 17 passes for 115 yards. He threw a touchdown pass, added 26 rushing yards, and scored a two-point conversion on the ground. That game wasn’t an offensive masterpiece, but Huntley did exactly what the Ravens needed. He avoided major mistakes, capitalized on scoring opportunities, and allowed Baltimore’s defense to control the game. The circumstances have changed, but the formula remains similarThis version of the Ravens offense looks much different than the one Huntley directed in that 2022 victory. Derrick Henry now anchors the running game, while Zay Flowers gives Baltimore another explosive option in space. The Falcons have changed a great deal, for the better. Still, if Huntley gets the nod Sunday night, the Henry-Flowers combo and some good play calling could help put him in position for one of his best performances of the season.Ravens should lean into quick throws and easy completionsAtlanta’s secondary has surrendered big chunks of yardage through the air this season. Baltimore shouldn’t overcomplicate things if Huntley starts. A steady early rhythm would also build confidence and force the Falcons to defend the entire field.Use Tyler Huntley’s mobility as a weaponHuntley may not have Jackson’s rare athleticism, but he remains one of the league’s more mobile quarterbacks. His ability to escape pressure, extend plays, and create first downs with his legs adds another dimension to Baltimore’s offense.Atlanta’s defensive front has shown flashes this season, but it has also struggled at times to finish plays against athletic quarterbacks. Designed rollouts, bootlegs, and selective quarterback runs could help Huntley stress the Falcons’ defense while creating favorable opportunities for Baltimore’s skill players.Stay perfect in the red zoneThe Ravens were a perfect 3-for-3 in the red zone vs. the Tennessee Titans. They converted four of six trips into TDs a week earlier. If they maintain that level of execution, they should be able to win with field position, special teams, and defense. The Falcons have played well in the red zone during their two-game winning streak, converting 11 trips into eight touchdowns. This isn’t groundbreaking news, but the team that performs better and capitalizes on more opportunities should take the upper hand. It’s a huge part of both teams’ offensive identities. Can either te
