​ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester Red Wings fans gathered at Innovative Field on Wednesday night to cheer on the team from afar as its postseason run continued in Memphis.The Red Wings took on Memphis on the road, while fans back home watched the game live on the ballpark’s videoboards and televisions throughout the concourse.The Home Plate concession stand was open throughout the evening, offering food and drinks for fans who came out to experience playoff baseball together.Fans were encouraged to wear their Red Wings gear and bring some of the atmosphere of a home game to Innovative Field, despite the team playing hundreds of miles away.The Red Wings ultimately fell to Memphis Wednesday night.Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
