Sunday was Davis’ fourth time scoring in double-figures, though: he previously scored 15 against the Miami Heat in his Summer League debut on July 3, 18 against the Lakers on July 6, then 12 against the Atlanta Hawks on July 9.The best year of Davis’ 5-year Tar Heel tenure came during his senior season, winning ACC Player of the Year honors in 2023-24 while averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game.
