Scottish Open leaderboard, Round 2 tee times, PGA Tour updates

Rory McIlroy hasn’t played competitive golf since last month’s U.S. Open, but he’ll head into Round 2 of the 2026 Scottish Open tied for the lead. The two-time Masters champion, who won this event in 2023, has never finished outside the top five in his three prior appearances. He opened his back nine with an eagle and carded a 5-under 65 in the first round, placing him level with Patrick Cantlay, Rasmus Højgaard, Tom Kim, and Bernd Wiesberger, the 40-year-old Austrian who left LIV Golf for the DP World Tour. Also within a stroke of the leaders is Brooks Koepka, another LIV defector, joined by Min Woo Lee, Kurt Kitayama and others just behind the pace.
Local interest is strong as well, with Scotland’s own Robert MacIntyre and Calum Hill among those vying early in the round, along with Wyndham Clark, Tommy Fleetwood, and Matt Fitzpatrick. Scottie Scheffler and Chris Gotterup are in the mix too, though they enter the second round nearer the projected cut line. Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton — two of LIV Golf’s active participants who feature in the British Open tune-up — will look to rebound today if they want to survive the cut.

Round 2 coverage in the United States will be broadcast nationally on Golf Channel beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. PGA Tour Live will offer featured group and hole streaming on the ESPN app (with a Select plan) starting at 3:15 a.m.
