​SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — SD United edged out the Brandon Valley Blitz, 5-4 in the quarterfinal, and TSC Blaze, 11-1 in the semifinal, at the Fastpitch Northern Nationals on Saturday. Two three-run homers decided the fate of SD United against Brandon Valley. Macy Lembcke broke the game open in the bottom of the third, crushing a three-RBI home run to catapult the Blitz to a 3-1 lead. Mara Wilkening gives United three-run blast of their own, earning them the 5-4 win over the Blitz.SD United scored early and often against TSC Blaze. Izabella Phelps earned the win for United, giving up four hits and one run across five innings with one strikeout and no walks.The Rapid City team will await its opponent out of the losers bracket with a first pitch set for 1:15 p.m. at Sherman Park.
