​Seattle Seahawks sophomore superstar Nick Emmanwori continues to miss training camp practices with an injury. Veteran safety Julian Love also recently received a maintenance day. Both of those occurrences have led to a lot of practice reps for rookie safety Bud Clark.The Seahawks held their eighth training camp practice on Monday. Clark, the 64th overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, enjoyed another big practice. Clark continued getting first-team reps with the starting defense, but it was specific usage that was even more interesting.Clark alternated in at deep safety, but also played Emmanwori’s hybrid linebacker role, according to The News Tribune’s Gregg Bell. Essentially aligning as a “BIG NICKEL” or hybrid linebacker, Emmanwori moved around the defensive formation as required.
