​The Seattle Seahawks got some excellent news on Wednesday. Veteran safety Julian Love returned to practice, according to multiple reporters in attendance. That seemingly puts Love on track to play versus the Los Angeles Chargers in Sunday’s upcoming Week 4 matchup.Love missed the Week 3 defeat to the Washington Commanders. The former Notre Dame standout popped up midweek on the injury report with a calf strain. Love was held out, and the Seahawks undeniably missed him, as they were upset 33-31 by the Commanders.Love has two interceptions in two appearances this season. His pending return should also mean the Seahawks’ defensive backfield is getting healthy. Love and opposite star safety Nick Emmanwori have barely played together this campaign. They could reunite in full force versus the Chargers in Week 4.Love leads the Seahawks in interceptions with two. He registered one takeaway apiece in Weeks 1 and 2. It’s worth noting that in Week 3, without Love on the field, was the first time the Seahawks failed to record an interception this season. They had four in the previous two contests. Meanwhile, Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota threw for three touchdowns. Sunday’s Week 4 opponent, Justin Herbert, has already thrown four interceptions.The Seahawks are undeniably stoked to get Love back on the practice field.Mike Macdonald said Julian Love will practice today in some capacity and Ty Okada will not.
