​Stanford is going into its matchup with No. 7 Miami as huge underdogs. Jay Green played in Stanford’s first game and limited Rainbow Warrior receivers to three catches for 26 yards. The key losses for the Cardinal are Kaminski, who was flying around the field and transfer center Aidan Kilstrom, who was seen as the key to revitalizing the Cardinal offensive line this season. Now Fisher Anderson will be back in the role he held last season as long as Kilstrom is out. Given that the broadcast cut to commercial when he went down and Kilstrom had to be carted to the back, there is a possibility this is an extended absence. At Monday’s weekly presser, head coach Tavita Pritchard said that with any injury, this program will have to adopt a ‘next man up’ mentality. Their first test will be Miami.
