Watt in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 27, 2026. — Ed Thompson / Steelers NowPITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey played with a broken wrist in Sunday’s 30-27 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Ramsey revealed on Tuesday that the injury occurred on the first series. Ramsey made eight tackles while playing through a broken wrist. He also played every defensive snap against the Bengals. Ramsey, who was limited, had his right arm in a sling during the Steelers locker room session on Monday. At Tuesday’s practice, Ramsey ditched the sling, but still has some type of cast on his right wrist.Ramsey said his wrist ‘was hurting’ throughout the game.The All-Pro is hoping that he can play on Thursday night against the Browns in Clevleand. “I’m going to give everything to try to (play). I have to be able to protect it. It’s a real injury, a broken wrist,” Ramsey said. “I can’t really do anything about it. It’s just going to be about seeing if I’m able to protect it and also still be myself in a good enough capacity where I feel like if I go out there, I won’t be letting any of my teammates down.”Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy revealed on Tuesday that he is expecting to see progress from injured slot cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey (wrist) and Brandin Echols (concussion) at practice today.“We’re on a short week. We have some guys that are working through some things,” McCarthy said. “The injury report, we’ll get that out to everybody here after we work. As far as the information I was given this morning, everyone was making progress. Hopefully, we’ll have everyone Thursday.”Ramsey was limited on Tuesday.
