Jenkins spent 2025 with the Cleveland Browns, starting three games but playing in all 17, recording 45 total tackles and one interception. He played over 200 snaps each on both special teams and defense. A fourth-round pick by the Chargers in 2017, Jenkins has spent most of his career with Los Angeles and Jacksonville. He recorded back-to-back 100-tackle seasons with the Jaguars in 2022 and 2023, with 10 tackles for loss, five interceptions and 19 passes defensed over that span. Jenkins ran a 4.51-second 40-yard dash entering the draft with a 9.42 RAS, although now the 6’1, 220-pound strong safety is 32. After bringing in both Jordan Whitehead and Jenkins for tryouts earlier in the week, it appears the Steelers have made their choice for how to bolster the depth of the team’s safety room. The team has not yet officially announced the move. Training camp continues on Saturday with a day off Sunday.
