Olly Stone joined Nottinghamshire from Warwickshire in 2023 [Shutterstock]Nottinghamshire pace bowler Olly Stone has signed a two-year contract extension to remain at Trent Bridge until the end of the 2028 season.The 32-year-old, who earned the last of his five England test caps almost two years ago, agreed new terms with the County Championship title holders just two days after helping them to a 145-run victory inside three days against Surrey.His haul of 10-94 across two innings was his best ever return for Notts and was instrumental in helping them consolidate their lead in the competition.Stone has taken 26 Division One wickets this season and re-established himself at Notts after he endured an injury-hit campaign last term which also included a loan stint in Division Two with Middlesex.”I feel this year, my performances out on the field have shown that I’ve got better, and it’s great when you can deliver and win games for Nottinghamshire,” he told the club website.
