Reports from Onze Mondial indicate that Paris Saint-Germain’s Pierre Mounguengue (18) is set to join Dynamo Kyiv, following interest from RC Strasbourg Alsace and Newcastle United. The forward chose to pursue the Ukrainian club’s project after being impressed by club chairman Ihor Surkis’ commitment, who has provided a three-year contract and assurances of first team playing time. The possibility of participating in the Champions League if they manage to qualify was also considered. . . . The season saw Mounguengue achieve 21 goals in 34 appearances for PSG’s Under-19s, earning him a debut under Luis Enrique against FC Lorient in early May. However, the young striker is now moving to a new team after visiting Dynamo’s training facilities recently. PSG offered him a contract but couldn’t offer a clear and convincing future plan, resulting in another loss for the team. (GFFN | Léo Aschi)
