Sunday BP: How to watch Day 2 of the 2026 MLB Draft

By admin — In News — July 12, 2026

The MLB Draft has transformed into a major spectacle, and Day 2 is underway. On Saturday, the Giants kicked off their selections with a flurry, beginning with UC Santa Barbara pitcher Jackson Flora as their first-round pick. They followed that by choosing prep pitcher Carson Bolemon with the compensation round pick they acquired in the Patrick Bailey trade. Their second-round selection brought in prep pitcher Kade Waechter, and Rutgers outfielder Peyton Bonds, Barry Bonds’ nephew, was chosen in the third round. The day concluded with Hofstra pitcher Carlos Martinez being taken in the fourth round.
Today, San Francisco is projected to make 16 more selections, including the No. 15 pick in rounds 5 through 20. Fans can keep up with all the action from both days through our draft tracker, which provides details on all 21 picks so far. I’ll also be sharing a few write-ups throughout the day. If you want to watch the draft live, here’s how to tune in: the 2026 MLB Draft, rounds 5-20, begins at 8:30 a.m. PT. You can watch it on MLB.com, MLB.TV, and MLB+.
