The Swiss rider is survived by his parents Florio and Manuela, sister Marzia, and girlfriend Sharon.The Caslano, Switzerland, resident was an established road racer, though this year marked his debut at the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course.Poncini and another competitor were involved in the incident during the opening lap of the second qualifying session.
