For Tennessee and Alabama, it was the first chance to see through the smoke thrown out this week and see who’s out and iffy for the game on Saturday. Kalen DeBoer hinted at star WR Ryan Coleman-Williams being out after suffering an injury against Bulldogs last weekend, as well as starting center Racin Delgatty being iffy for the game with an injury. As it turns out, those projections met with the report. Coleman-Williams is out, and Delgatty is listed as questionable. For Tennessee, obviously the main question is the health of Faizon Brandon, who is listed on the report as questionable, just like he was last week ahead of the Arkansas game. Pete Thamel said this week that Brandon’s practice activity increased this week, but there’s no indication he’s going to get the nod on Saturday against the Crimson Tide, particularly still being questionable on the availability report. It’s also good that there are no surprise names on the list as questionable or out. The local media does a good job of inquiring about known injuries, but it doesn’t appear there’s anything that slipped through from Saturday’s game onto the report. We’ll see if Brandon upgrades to probable later this week.
