​After losing four of five starters to the 2026 NFL Draft, the Texas A&M offensive line underwent major revamping in the offseason, as a slew of newcomers will play their first snaps for the Aggies this season. Last year’s group protected quarterback Marcel Reed extremely well, tying with Ole Miss for first in the SEC with only 19.0 total sacks allowed. The starting offensive line, featuring 161 combined starts from Mike Elko’s first year at the helm in 2024, earned the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll, which recognized the nation’s top offensive lines. Elko dipped into the transfer portal and landed massive additions from SEC foes, as tackles Wilkin Formby (Alabama) and Tyree Adams (LSU), and guards Coen Echols (LSU) and Trovon Baugh (South Carolina) are likely to earn the starting role at their respective positions. Meanwhile, center Mark Nabou Jr. enters his fifth year at Texas A&M as the sole returning starter from last year’s playoff run. The Lynwood, Washington, native returned from injury in 2025 after suffering a torn MCL in the 2024 season opener.
