The 11 first-team players expected to report for the opening day of pre-season training at Real Madrid, the La Liga giants, were disclosed on Sunday. A new era is clearly about to begin in Spain’s capital as the club prepares for the coming week. Following José Mourinho’s return to the Real Madrid dugout this summer, the Portuguese manager will oversee his first training session on Monday morning. A number of the club’s marquee performers will not be required to attend due to their involvement in the World Cup in North America. For those not called up by their national teams, tomorrow will provide their first opportunity to impress their head coach as the season ahead begins to take shape.
As noted above, on the eve of the session, the Real Madrid coaching staff have revealed the players who will attend, alongside several youth talents. According to a report from Blancos correspondent Arancha Rodríguez, the following first-team players are set to be present at Valdebebas: Andriy Lunin, Éder Militão, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Raúl Asencio, Álvaro Carreras, Ferland Mendy, Dean Huijsen, Eduardo Camavinga, Rodrygo, Gonzalo García, and Franco Mastantuono.
