Evan Wibberley, #58, stands 6’5” and weighs 305 pounds. He plays on the offensive line and is a RS Senior in the Class. Hailing from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, Wibberley has earned recognition as a versatile and reliable blocker throughout his college career.
Wibberley has completed a notable journey through the D-I landscape in Kentucky, earning the distinction of suiting up for all three Division I programs in the state. He began his collegiate career at Western Kentucky University, where he earned All-Freshman honors in 2023. He carried that early promise into 2024, receiving conference recognition from various outlets and demonstrating he could compete at a higher level, contributing at a power-five pace when given the opportunity.
Last season, Wibberley transferred to the University of Kentucky. There, he contended with a deep and talented offensive line group and saw action in a quarter of the games. The experience in Lexington added another dimension to his development, exposing him to a different system and level of competition.
Now at Louisville, Wibberley continues to pursue playing time and further growth on the interior line. He faces stiff competition for reps at center and guard from fellow interior linemen Lance Robinson and Sam Secrest. With more than 15 starts and 29 games played across his college career, Wibberley brings a wealth of experience to the Cardinals’ offensive line room. He has shown the ability to adapt to new environments and schemes, stepping into high-stakes games against top programs and performing with consistency when called upon.
Wibberley’s path is notable for its breadth and the resilience it demonstrates. Moving from WKU to Kentucky and now to Louisville, he has demonstrated versatility in both technique and adaptability to different coaching styles and systems. His size and experience add depth to Louisville’s interior line, and his track record suggests he can contribute meaningful reps along the interior—whether at center or at guard.
In addition to his on-field value, Wibberley brings a seasoned mindset to the team. He has learned to handle the pressures of changing teams, adjusting to new playbooks, and competing for important roles on the depth chart. His presence in the locker room and on the practice field contributes to a culture of perseverance and work ethic, qualities valuable to any program seeking steady, reliable interior protection and run-blocking capability.
In sum, Evan Wibberley is a veteran offensive lineman with a rare Kentucky-wide career footprint, having played for multiple D-I programs within the state. His blend of size, experience, and persistence positions him as a solid contributor for Louisville, providing depth, leadership, and a proven ability to compete for important interior snaps.
