Now that NIL and the transfer portal are in full swing, creating NCAA Free Agency, there has been enough time for us to be able to go back and look at who have been the most impactful transfer Rebs so far.
There will be an 11 man offense and 11 man defense and maybe an honorable mention or two. Some of these will certainly be debatable so we would love for you to comment and tell us where we were wrong!

QB: Jaxson Dart (2022-24) All-time passing leader, 84 total touchdowns, 29-10 record
RB: Kewan Lacy (2025-pres) school record 24 touchdowns with 1,567 rushing yards
WR1: Tre’ Harris (2023-24) 2,015 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns
WR2: Jordan Watkins (2022-24) 2,096 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns
WR3: Tre Wallace (2025) 934 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns
TE: Caden Prieskorn (2023-24) 850 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns
OL: Diego Pounds (2024-25) 28 starts, currently with Baltimore Ravens
OL: Patrick Kutas (2025- pres) 15 starts
OL: Nate Kalepo (2024) 12 starts
OL: Julius Buelow (2024) 13 starts
OL: Gerquan Scott (2024) 8 starts

HM: Trinidad Chambliss (2025-26)
The defense will be much more difficult to decide on but no choice will be more difficult than Jaxson Dart vs. Trinidad Chambliss. Dart takes it for now, but Chambliss could take his spot at season’s end. Yes Trinidad has two playoff wins, but Dart’s second season would have seen at least one playoff win if the playoffs were the current, expanded format.
As you can see, the 11-2 2024 season was heavily impacted by transfers. While Pete Golding is already putting together one of the best high school classes in program history, transfers will always remain a crucial part of roster construction in today’s current model.
