   ​Open leaderboards: Herbert tied the Open front-nine record with a flawless 6-under 10 on the course, as Suber and Cauley sit at 5 under and 4 under respectively. Morikawa also sits at 4 under after a strong start, while England’s Wallace fired a three-under 67 to join the chase at 4 under.
As the round progresses, Brown and Im are next out at 4 under (Im tee time 12:47), and MacIntyre sits at 3 under (tee time 12:25). Rory McIlroy and Matthew Fitzpatrick are both on the course at 1 over as they push to climb the standings (with five players currently in action).
