​Credit: USA TODAY Network via Reuters ConnectAfter a disastrous 0-2 start, nobody was looking forward to seeing the Atlanta Falcons in primetime against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.But as it turns out, NFL fans may have to be worried about how much they are going to see of the Packers this season instead of the Falcons.In the first of three straight primetime games, the Falcons shocked the NFL world when they coasted to a 35-14 victory at Lambeau Field. They looked like heading to 0-2 before a comeback victory against the New York Jets in overtime. While cheeseheads were right to feel a little anxious about their team, they would have never expected to look so lost in the national spotlight.The Packers haven’t lost ten games in a season since all the way back in 2008. But given the tough NFC North and the way they have looked to start the season, it’s a real possibility.And the nation is going to get a front row seat for the journey ahead.Green Bay is one of the biggest and most popular teams in not just the NFL, but all of sports. And their success through the decades has made them a fixture in national television broadcasts. The Packers have a whopping six standalone national television broadcasts remaining on the schedule. Yikes!Those games include multiple ones that aren’t part of the NFL’s flex schedule procedures like Week 8 on Thursday Night Football against the Panthers, Week 12 on Thanksgiving Eve against the Rams on Netflix, and Christmas Day against the Bears on Netflix again. In addition, Green Bay is currently scheduled for two more Sunday Night Football games in Weeks 6 and 14 and a Monday Night Football game in Week 17.If that’s not enough suffering, there are three more times the Packers are scheduled for the 4:25 PM ET national window on Sunday afternoons with what were thought to be marquee matchups against the Bears, Lions, and Patriots.It’s true that things can change pretty quickly in the NFL. Just ask Falcons fans. But Green Bay has failed to impress through the first three weeks and Jordan Love and the offense look especially hopeless.
