Last week’s betting was a net winner, almost hit the parlay but Cleveland may be (much) better than we all thought. Odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook.Last week: 4-2New England at Buffalo (-6.5)Sunday 1 p.m.Buffalo is perfect against the spread this year including last week’s late cover against the Los Angeles Chargers. John Allen has the Bills’ offense rolling and there’s no reason to believe the Pats will slow them down this week either. New England’s defense is giving up only 17 points per game however and may keep the scoreboard from gettting ugly. Offensively they are struggling big time. Averaging only 12 points a game, Drake Maye must find a way to move the ball and put points on the board. Buffalo is humming at the moment and home field advantage here is big.Play: Lay the 6.5. There’s way too much smoke in New England right now. This could get ugly. These are the two bigger reasons Los Angeles is a favorite on the road against a Super Bowl contender. The Rams’ defense hasn’t looked good in its two losses and its offense has been uneven to put it kindly. Philadelphia, on the other hand, is fortunate to be 2-1 and not worse. Closer than expected wins over Washington and Tennessee has kept Philly from a catastrophic start. One of these two teams will put it together Sunday. Or it will be a mess to watch and someone survives another week. It’s rare to have such a pivotal game this early in the season but here we are. Los Angeles, in particular, cannot fall another game behind in its division. The Eagles can afford a loss – the NFC East isn’t exactly a gauntlet. I’m taking the Rams here, but not with all my heart.Play: Rams on the money line. CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – SEPTEMBER 20: Byron Murphy Jr. #7 of the Minnesota Vikings celebrates after a play with Isaiah Rodgers #2 against the Chicago Bears during the first quarter of the game at Soldier Field on September 20, 2026 in Chicago, Illinois. (Photo by Geoff Stellfox/Getty Images)Getty ImagesMiami at Minnesota (-9.5)Sunday 4:05 p.m.Play the trends I’ve been told. Miami is 0-3 against the spread so far in 2026. Minnesota is 3-0. Then Vikings have a very good defense (13.7 ppg allowed). The Dolphins can’t score (12 ppg).
