While it’s unlikely Aaron Rodgers will play against his former team, new Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy has no choice. There is much on the line for players fighting for playing time and a roster spot. The preseason is very entertaining as players looking to prove themselves have a chance to put good things on film. Although playing big minutes in the preseason opener isn’t the best indication of a potential roster spot, each minute on the film is a chance to change the narrative. The most exciting prospect of Thursday’s matchup is how Drew Allar and Will Howard will perform.
