The 29-year-old has had mixed results this month, which has averaged out to a solid 3.45 ERA and a 3.11 FIP stretching across 15 2/3 innings, allowing 17 hits (one home run) and five walks while striking out 14 over that span. On the other side of the equation is fellow righty Michael Wacha, who has been solid so far in his 14th season of big league ball.
