Brady and his daughter went viral for a handshake while they were cheering on Brazil. Brady’s ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, is Brazilian and he shares two kids with her, Vivian and Benjamin. Brady also posted a picture with three Brazilian flag emojis on his Instagram story on the day of the match.
The World Cup final is set to take place at MetLife Stadium on July 19, and Brady plans to be there with Michael Rubin. Rubin and Brady are good friends. Rubin is the founder of Fanatics.
“I had all three of my kids and I sat with my buddy Michael Rubin, who’s a great buddy of mine,” Brady said of his experience watching Brazil’s opening match during an appearance on “Stick to Football.” “We’re going to be at the World Cup final together here in New Jersey.”
The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is an avid sports fan and has been seen at major sporting events plenty of times after his playing days. It’s worth noting that the World Cup is being broadcast on FOX, the same network Brady currently works for.
