He later included the Tigers alongside Georgia Tech and South Carolina in his top three before Georgia entered the picture.Despite visiting Clemson for Saturday’s matchup, Walker said Georgia Tech secured his commitment by consistently making him feel like a priority. Members of the Yellow Jackets’ staff attended his high school game Friday night, which helped finalize his decision.“It just showed how much they make me feel like a priority,” Walker told Rivals. The timing adds some sting for Clemson. The Tigers surrendered six sacks against Miami and have allowed 17 through five games, making offensive line development and recruiting an obvious concern. What Miami coach Mario Cristobal said about Clemson football after win📸 Ashley Tumlin, IMAGN IMAGES via Reuters Connect https://t.co/lWUeyPhzWbpic.twitter.com/rcpS4jsjg7— Clemson Wire (@Clemson_Wire) October 4, 2026Walker cannot sign until the 2028 recruiting cycle, leaving Clemson plenty of time to continue recruiting him.
