Draymond Green and Udonis Haslem have reignited their ongoing back-and-forth, this time sparked by the Las Vegas incident involving Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro. Haslem fired back at Green on Sunday via social media, taking aim at the Warriors star for comments he recently made on his podcast. “I see some things just don’t change,” Haslem wrote, “You was on sucka s**t four years ago when you swung on Jordan Poole, and you on sucka s**t now.”
The feud isn’t new, but the latest chapter followed a confrontation between Herro and Adebayo in a Las Vegas gym Friday morning. The former Miami Heat teammates were at a gym inside Resorts World Casino when Adebayo allegedly struck Herro in the “face area” during an incident witnessed by Herro’s AAU team. Adebayo later walked onto the court, approached Herro, and punched him. The two had been teammates from 2019 through 2026, though Herro was recently traded to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a deal that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat. Haslem, a lifelong Heat staple both as a player and now on the team’s staff, has followed the drama with interest.
Meanwhile, Green weighed in on Haslem’s criticisms of him regarding the Jordan Poole incident. In 2022, Green swung at Poole during a Warriors practice, an action Haslem publicly condemned at the time. On his podcast this past weekend, Green reflected on Haslem’s response and questioned the motive behind it. “So, when I first saw this, I was like, ‘Damn. This is two young guys Udonis Haslem raised,’” Green remarked. “If you raised this young guy in the light of what you was saying about me, and now he punches this other young guy that y’all kind of co-raised, are you going to have that same energy?”
Haslem delivered a lengthy five-paragraph reply, insisting the two situations are not comparable. “If you think your big 32 year old, three or four rings at the time having ass swinging on a 23 year old Jordan Poole at the time is the same then you are even more delusional than I thought,” Haslem wrote, before clarifying his view on why the incidents differ. He went on to challenge Green directly, suggesting Green’s remarks are unwelcome. “I ion really vibe you and I think you know that so unless it’s me on Prime talking hoops I won’t mention you at all,” Haslem said. “You brought me into this and I am retired and out the way. I suggest you keep it pushing cause I ain’t giving out no more hall passes bra!”
The back-and-forth makes clear that Green and Haslem remain at odds, with Green’s remarks drawing a pointed response from Haslem. The Adebayo-Herro feud itself has grown in scope, now attracting even more attention amid this latest round of cross-fire. As the public drama continues to unfold, both sides show little appetite for backing down, and the narrative around these high-profile figures remains a magnet for fan interest and media coverage alike.
