Ariane Lipski da Silva, the fighter nicknamed “The Queen of Violence,” has announced her retirement after a 30-fight professional career that saw him compete in PFL, UFC, and KSW. The 32-year-old Brazilian confirmed via social media that she has stepped away following a first-round submission defeat to Jena Bishop at PFL San Diego. Lipski da Silva went 1-1 in PFL, and she exited the sport having lost four of her last five fights.
She reflected on nearly 13 years as a professional MMA fighter, expressing gratitude for the opportunities and lessons the sport provided, and for the chance to help grow women’s MMA. She emphasized the importance of honoring her values and hoped to inspire future generations of female fighters, noting that real growth often comes from tough defeats as well as rewarding victories.
Lipski da Silva rose to prominence in KSW, where she went 5-0 and captured the organization’s flyweight title, finishing four of those wins by finish. In the UFC, she posted a 6-8 record, with her most notable run in 2023 featuring a three-fight winning streak against J.J. Aldrich, Melissa Gatto, and Casey O’Neill. After leaving the UFC on a three-fight losing streak, she defeated Sumiko Inaba by decision at PFL Pittsburgh before losing to Bishop. Her final career record stands at 18-12.
