​The North Carolina Tar Heels’ football program got off to a good start here in the 2026 season, beating TCU in Ireland in Week 0. As North Carolina looks to continue that momentum, they get a bit of a break this week as they are on a bye.But they did reveal some good news. Earlier this week, we saw the classic UNC logo from the 80’s at midfield as they get ready for the Week 2 matchup against East Tennessee State. Now, we know that those classic uniforms are coming this season. The program revealed that they will be sporting the classic 80’s look this season, possibly as early as the Week 2 game.
