Nearly two weeks ago we attempted to predict their final 53-man roster at the halfway point of training camp, but the signing of the Von Miller and the emergence of several other players have changed things. Because of that, we decided to bring things up to date with an update. Check it out below.Quarterback (2)Dak Prescott, Joe MiltonThe QB2 competition is over. Milton has persevered and won the right to be Prescott’s primary backup once again in 2026.Running back (4)Javonte Williams, Malik Davis, Jaydon Blue, Hunter LuepkeShould’ve known better than to count out No. 20. He not only replaces Phil Mafah, who will hopefully be retained on the practice squad, but has surpassed Blue as the favored RB2 to backup Williams again this year.Wide receiver (6)CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Ryan Flournoy, KaVontae Turpin, Jonathan Mingo, Camden BrownWe have the Cowboys going a little deeper here than before with Jonathan Mingo and Camden Brown making the cut, replacing Anthony Smith. Smith hopefully slips through waivers and re-signs to the practice squad. We still really like his potential.Tight end (3)Jake Ferguson, Brevyn Spann-Ford, Michael TriggTrigg missing time with an injury hurts his case a little, but we believe he’s already on a pretty even playing field with Luke Schoonmaker. Because of that, and due to his upside, we don’t believe Dallas will risk him to waivers.Offensive line (9)Tyler Guyton, Tyler Smith, Cooper Beebe, Tyler Booker, Terence Steele, TJ Bass, Nate Thomas, Nick Leverett, Ajani CorneliusDrew Shelton out, Nick Leverett in. Even as a developmental project so that is nowhere close to contributing. Hopefully he can be re-signed to the practice squad. Leverett replaces him backup center/guard. Keep an eye out for another vet OT joining the mix to solidify things.Defensive tackle (5)Quinnen Williams, Kenny Clark, Otito Ogbonnia, Jonathan Bullard, LT OvertonWe don’t foresee any changes here. Undrafted rookies Tommy Dunn and DJ Withers show promise, but not enough to earn a roster spot. Both will hopefully be re-signed to the practice squad if they clear waivers.Outside linebacker/Edge (6)Rashan Gary, Donovan Ezeiruaku, Malachi Lawrence, James Houston, Von Miller, Marist LiufauMiller’s addition is the biggest change from our previous projection. The sixth and final spot is still up in the air with Liufau, Sam Williams, Isaiah Land, and Tyrus Wheat all vying for the job. We’ll stick with No. 35 for now, he’ll really need to step up his game to beat out his competition.Inside linebacker (5)DeMarvion Overshown, Dee Winters, Jaishawn Barham, Justin Barron, Shemar JamesC
