​“Like a few other stadiums in Big Ten country, Camp Randall isn’t quite the visiting-team nightmare it used to be,” opens USA TODAY’s Paul Myerberg when ranking each Big Ten stadium. When at its peak, the Wisconsin Badgers’ home soil ranked as one of the nation’s most electric environments. The problem is that since Paul Chryst left the post, that energy has been present too few and far between. Under current head coach Luke Fickell, the Badgers’ home record is just one game over .500, sitting at 11-10. “But the traditions are elite. None are more memorable than the ‘Jump Around’ stampede at the end of the third quarter, which began in 1998 and was the soundtrack to the Badgers’ development into a powerhouse under former coach Barry Alvarez,” Myerberg added.
