The Jazz will open their Summer League slate with the Salt Lake City Summer League on July 4, 6, and 7 before heading to Las Vegas, where the event runs from July 9 to 19. Here’s everything you need to know to get ready for all of the Jazz’ summer league action.
When do the Jazz play? The SLC Summer League, held at the Huntsman Center, features the Jazz against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday at 3 p.m. MST, then a game versus the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday at 7 p.m., followed by a matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday at 7 p.m. All Jazz SLC Summer League games will be broadcast on KJZZ, with non-Jazz games offering additional broadcast and streaming options.
In Las Vegas, the Jazz open July 9 with a primetime matchup against AJ Dybantsa and the Washington Wizards at 7 p.m. on ESPN. The schedule continues with a July 12 game against the Los Angeles Clippers at 8 p.m. on Prime, a July 13 encounter with the Chicago Bulls at 7 p.m. on ESPN, and a July 15 showdown with the San Antonio Spurs at 7:30 p.m. on Prime. The remaining Jazz Las Vegas games will be determined by their standings in the Summer League.
Who will be on the court? The Jazz’s summer roster centers on rookie Darryn Peterson, second-year wing Ace Bailey, and third-year wing Cody Williams. The roster also features returning two-way player Blake Hinson and Tamar Bates, who signed a two-way deal with the Jazz on Friday. Bates spent two collegiate years at Indiana and two at Missouri before going undrafted in 2025; last season he was on a two-way deal with the Denver Nuggets but was sidelined for at least three months with a broken foot before his NBA debut.
What to expect from Darryn Peterson, Ace Bailey, and Cody Williams? How much court time the Jazz’s top players will receive—and how many games they will play—remains uncertain. Summer head coach Steve Wojciechowski said the plan will be influenced by the schedule. “We have three games in four days, and I think it makes a lot of sense for us to take a look at what that back-to-back means. But ultimately, that’s a decision I’ll be told what the answer is.”
