I think this past week, like always, you try to take the tape, evaluate it and learn from anything you could have done better. Really between the end of the game and now, it’s been an extensive overview and review of what could we have done better, what could we have coached better and how we clean up the small things to help us win big time football games. We were right there, had our chance and unfortunately came up short, so that part is disappointing but you learn from it and you move on. Now we have to get ready for an opponent this Friday night that went to the FCS playoffs semifinals last year, so we have to come ready to play and try to play clean football, smart football and execute at the highest level we can.”(On what Jeff Brohm wants to see improvement on for Friday)“A lot of areas. I want to see our team compete hard like this is the Super Bowl, the most important game on our schedule and be dialed in, locked in, focused and ready to play as clean as we can while we’re trying to make plays and that’s in all three segments. All three segments can do things better going from game one to two, so we want to see it take place this Friday night against Villanova.”(On the short week leading up to Villanova)“We definitely spent a full day, if not more, just trying to make sure we’re getting better. There’s been preliminary studies on Villanova already, so now you pick that up with the last two games that they’ve played and make a few adjustments to the plan. We want to practice but we want to get our guys fresh to the game. On basically a five day turnaround, there’s different ways we’ll practice to make sure we get to that point while we’re continuing to get back in game shape. We’ll practice a little different this week, be a little safer and try to get guys as healthy as we can.”(On what he saw after watching the tape from Ole Miss and if it differs from what he saw on the field)“I think leaving the field and watching [the tape], I have somewhat of the same feelings. I think we started off with a good drive and weren’t consistent. We hit a couple of speed bumps, a couple of things happened with communication that threw us off a little bit. The second half, we made some adjustments and picked up the tempo a little bit. We tried to improve communication so that we could be efficient. I thought Lincoln got in a rhythm and did a pretty good job getting touchdowns and getting scores however that had to take place. So that part was good to see. The improvement there and the ability to score points, we had to have them
