​With the calendar flipping to August, the girls high school soccer season is quickly approaching, with official practices beginning on Monday, Aug. 17, and the first day of play commencing on Friday, Aug. 28. As another high school soccer season inches closer, it is time to select the Beaver County Times’ girls high school soccer preseason player of the year for the 2026 season. Many of these players helped lead their respective programs in 2025, including reaching the WPIAL championship game. Fans can cast their vote as many times as they’d like until the poll closes on Tuesday, Aug. 11, at noon.
