   ​After another exciting week of the high school football season, it’s time to look back on the best performances.Read about the players who stood out last week and let us know who you think should be the HSS North Jersey Player of the Week in the poll at the bottom of this page.Voting closes at 5 p.m. Thursday.Kenny Callaghan, HawthorneThe senior carried the ball 18 times for 190 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for a score, in the Bears’ 42-12 win over Saddle Brook.Tahj Gray, St. JosephThe junior’s pick-six in the first quarter set the tone in the Green Knights’ 42-7 win over DePaul.Jo Jo Marullo, RutherfordThe junior ran for two first-quarter touchdowns to get things started for the Bulldogs in a 34-7 win over Pompton Lakes.Luciano Mayer, Waldwick/Midland ParkThe junior carried the ball 24 times for 189 yards and four touchdowns in the Warriors’ 48-9 win over Elmwood Park.Rob Pizarro, HackensackThe sophomore made a team-high 11 tackles as the Comets shut out Columbia 41-0 for their first win of the season.Bryan Porter, Bergen CatholicThe senior carried the ball 16 times for 154 yards and a touchdown, and caught three passes for 71 yards, in the Crusaders’ 33-16 win over then-No. 2 St. Peter’s Prep.Nick Prato, Wood-RidgeThe junior caught a 50-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter and returned the second-half kickoff 80 yards for a score in the Blue Devils’ 47-20 win over Weehawken.Emran Qasemi, LodiThe sophomore threw for a touchdown, ran for a touchdown and returned a punt 71 yards for a touchdown in the Rams’ 24-13 win over Manchester. He threw for 101 yards and ran for 132 yards. Brodie Ramiza, RamseyThe senior completed 21 of 29 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns in the Rams’ 24-14 win over Mountain Lakes. On defense, he made eight tackles.Jorheny Rodriguez, GarfieldThe junior carried the ball 15 times for 173 yards and two touchdowns in the Boilermakers’ 33-14 win over Lyndhurst.Christian Senatore, Fort LeeThe senior carried the ball 10 times for 140 yards and two touchdowns, and caught a touchdown pass, in the Bridgemen’s 48-9 win over Tenafly.
