She totaled 29 assists and 11 digs in two matches, including 17 assists and 11 digs in a straight-set victory over Petrolia after recording 12 assists against Holliday.Catarina “Cat” Dehoyos, Christ AcademyDehoyos made her biggest impact from the service line as Christ Academy continued its strong start to district play. She fired nine aces and added two kills in a dominant sweep of TCS, helping Christ Academy improve to 4-0 in district competition.Allison Melton, NewcastleMelton backed up another strong cross-country performance with one of the area’s best finishes of the week. She placed second at the Olney Invitational on Sept. 23, covering the 3,200-meter course in 13 minutes, 0.37 seconds and finishing right at the front of a 76-runner field.Lucy Blair, LegacyBlair was a steady presence for Legacy (19-15) through a tough week, finishing with 26 kills and 21 digs across two matches. She posted 21 kills and 10 digs in a four-set loss against Harrold before adding five kills and 11 digs against Abilene Wylie.
