​The Los Angeles Lakers have identified their next franchise center by acquiring Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz during the current free agency period. In the deal, the Jazz sent unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033 along with first-round pick swaps in 2028 and 2030 to the Lakers in exchange for Kessler.
