Talking season is inching closer.SEC Media Days begin Monday, July 20, with Arkansas football scheduled to go through its round in the spotlight on Thursday, July 23. Silverfield is about to begin his debut season as the Razorbacks coach following a successful six-year tenure at Memphis. He is the latest coach tasked with the enviable objective of revitalizing the Arkansas program. The Hogs are 4-20 in their last three SEC campaings.The league announced each school’s player representatives this week. The North Little Rock native broke through in 2025 as a full-time starter with 15.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks, leading the Hogs in both categories. Trey Flowers was the last Razorback to produce that many tackles for loss, doing so in 2015.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementRhodes waited patiently behind Landon Jackson during his first two seasons on campus. Now, he is a lock to be selected in the 2027 NFL Draft. Retaining Rhodes was such a boom for Silverfield that the coach made the official announcement during his first press conference at Arknsas.Kitler started in all 11 games he saw action in during the 2025 season, which as his first year with the Razorbacks after transferring in from UCF.He blocked for six games of 500-plus yards of total offense and played a major role in Arkansas’ offensive line showed massive improvement from previous seasons. He followed Silverfield from Memphis and had a career year in 2025, posting 669 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 102 carries. He also hauled in 20 receptions for 109 yards.Smith will battle with the likes of Braylen Russell, Jasper Parker and Cam Settles for snaps in 2026.
