Here’s a look at what he said about the challenge BYU brings, CSU’s development, offensive line injury updates and more.Jim Mora opening statement”Watch the film, learn the lessons we need to learn and make the adjustments we need to make. Apply them and go out and have a good practice this week. It’s a hefty challenge. It’s going to be a tough one and we will fight. And I can promise all CSU fans we’ll fight. A really good team BYU has, ranked No. 11 in the country. Those are the challenges that we love. Those are the challenges we live for, so I’m excited about this week.”Jim Mora on BYU football team”Toughness. I have a ton of regard for (BYU coach) Kalani (Sitake). I’ve known him for a long time and you know his team is going to be tough. They’re going to play on the edge. They’re going to play with discipline. They’re not going to do things to hurt themselves. They’re going to be sound defensively. They’re going to be physical and run the ball offensively. I’ve watched their film. They’re about as complete a team as you’ll find in the country. Like I said, we will fight like crazy.”Jim Mora on BYU’s progression through the years”They were a WAC team and now they’re a contender for the College Football Playoff. I have a lot of respect for Kalani. He’s tough. He’s demanding. His team can play hard. They are a reflection of Kalani. That’s been established. Nothing’s been established here yet. But they have established that.”Jim Mora on his recollections of BYU when he was a young coach”I used to see them as kind of an underdog. I got the chance to work with Jim McMahon when I first came into the (NFL). Got a chance to work with Ty Detmer at the 49ers. So, I’ve been around some of those pretty good players. They were always a little bit of an underdog. Well, they’re not the underdog anymore. I always felt like they were disciplined and tough like they are now. They played football the right way like they do now. It’s just that in those days, there was just a little bit of an underdog feel to them, and now they’re a powerhouse.”Jim Mora on the challenge of BYU QB Bear Bachmeier”He’s like 6-3, 230 (pounds). He’s as big as most linebackers in the country. He’s inc
