(Photo by Stacy Revere/Getty Images) | Getty Images The Seattle Seahawks are in desperate search of more cornerback depth, at least judging by their recent free agency moves.Seattle still intends to sign troubled ex-Detroit Lions starter Terrion Arnold, but in the meantime they’ve turned their sights to former Dallas Cowboys corner and two-time Pro Bowler Trevon Diggs. The Seahawks signed Diggs on Wednesday, and on that same day the 27-year-old corner spoke to the media about his health and decision to sign with Seattle.“This is the first offseason I’ve been able to not rehab and do offseason training,” Diggs said, confirming that he is 100% healthy. “A lot of trainers help me put the work in to help me get to where I’m at today, I’m truly thankful for that. It’s a blessing from God honestly, to be able to come out here again.”While Diggs is new to the Seahawks, he’s joining some familiar faces. Diggs played with edge rushers DeMarcus Lawrence and Dante Fowler Jr. and was coached by Seahawks defensive coordinator Ande Durde during his time in Dallas. Diggs said having those faces he can turn to ask questions is incredibly valuable, and he sees similarities to the family-esque bonds his Cowboy defenses had.“That’s very important with a football team just being together, being one and making sure your locker room is straight,” Diggs said. “I see a lot of similarities there.”Diggs also played alongside Seahawks starting corner Josh Jobe during his time at Alabama. In his introductory presser, Diggs said Jobe has already offered to help him understand head coach Mike Macdonald’s defense.“He’s saying he’ll help me out, get the playbook down. I’ll be in my playbook every day to get the whole defense down,” Diggs said of Jobe. “Being able to give myself a chance, give myself an opportunity to come out here and compete and help win.”Speaking of Macdonald’s defense, Diggs said that it looks amazing. “They get to the quarterback. They create turnovers. They do all the right things,” Diggs said. “I’m excited to hopefully be a part of it and just try to help this team win.”The Alabama product said he has experience playing in the slot and outside and that he prides himself on his ball skills as a corner. That makes sense considering he has 20 career interceptions, with a whopping 11 of them in one season, 2021, when he was named to a first-team All-Pro.Despite his production, Diggs has struggled to stay healthy recently and struggled with concussion symptoms after a TV mounting incident last season. The Cowboys cut Diggs just 10 days after reactivating him from injured reserve, and though he found a new home with the Green Bay Packers, they would also waive him on January 20.Diggs discussed the ordeal, saying he lea
