Myles Garrett © Imagn.Myles Garrett’s knee injury has derailed his season. Many believed the addition of the defensive end would be a game changer, but that hasn’t happened yet. The pass rusher saw action against the San Francisco 49ers on Sept. 10, but due to the injury, he is still looking for his first tackle or sack.Fantasy football managers likely drafted the Rams defense to cash in on the duo of Aaron Donald and Garrett, but the two have not been able to work together in any notable capacity. The wait is set to continue, according to a Saturday post from Rams Wire.Garrett, who had arthroscopic knee surgery in mid-September, will be eligible to return from the injured reserve as soon as Week 6. However, the pass rusher is not expected to practice as he continues to heal. The post reported one timeline offered by ESPN’s Ian Rapoport that would put Garrett on track to be available for Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers. As such, the star is expected to miss upcoming showdowns against the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders, leaving managers in a bind heading into Week 6.Los Angeles Rams Defense Fantasy Football AlternativesWith Myles Garrett likely to be out for another three weeks, managers may need to find some other options this week. Luckily for those managers, there are plenty. One option could be the New York Giants. The Giants gave up just seven points to the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. This week, the Giants will face the New Orleans Saints’ Tyler Shough, who has thrown for one touchdown and two interceptions in his last two games. The Giants should be able to keep things in check. The contest will also take place in New York, the same location where the Giants faced the Titans earlier this year.Another option could be the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs face the Chargers in Week 6. Justin Herbert is the second most sacked quarterback in the NFL, getting sacked 17 times. The Chiefs could rack up points with sacks. Herbert is also tied with Drake Maye for the most interceptions in the NFL (seven). The Chargers also have not scored 30 points once this season.A third option could be the Seattle Seahawks, who are set to face the Broncos. Seattle has allowed 30 points in two of the team’s last three games, but Denver’s offense has struggled mightily this season with only one game of 30 points scored. In that game, seven of those points came on a pick-six against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3.Read More News:“WORST Kicker in NFL History,” “Needs to be Cut by Tonight”: Fans Slam Rams’ Harrison Mevis Over “Inexcusable” Blunder in Overtime Loss vs. Bills“Most Overrated Coach in the NFL,” “Needs To Be Fired”: Fans Outraged at Sean McVay’s Costly Mistake As Rams Suffer Heartbreaking OT Loss to BillsCollege Sports Network has you covered with the latest news, analysis, insights, and trending stories in college football, men’s college basketball, women’s college basketball, and college baseball!
