The 2026 NBA Summer League kicked off on July 9 and is once again stacked with familiar faces. From players who stayed with last year’s roster to those who moved on, the candy stripe alumni will be well represented over the next couple of weeks. Below is a compilation of former Indiana Hoosiers who will be taking part in Summer League this year.

In Bloomington, guard Lamar Wilkerson, wearing #3 for the Hoosiers, stood out as a bright spot on last year’s squad. He spent just one season with Indiana after transferring from Sam Houston State. Despite going undrafted recently, Wilkerson quickly reached an Exhibit-10 agreement with Oklahoma City. That deal aligns him with an organization that kept him close as he charts his professional path.
Alongside Wilkerson, forward Tucker DeVries followed in his father’s footsteps by returning to Indiana for his final collegiate season. DeVries, who had shown versatility for the Hoosiers, contributed in multiple ways throughout his lone year in Bloomington. After going undrafted, he signed an Exhibit-10 contract with the Boston Celtics, continuing his journey in the NBA landscape.
Another alumnus making the Summer League rounds is Sam Alexis. The Florida native transferred to Indiana after starring for a national-championship-winning team in Gainesville. Alexis carved out a role as a bench option before earning a starting spot down the stretch of the season. He joined Wilkerson in Oklahoma City on a Summer League deal, keeping him in the orbit of a familiar organization while he pursues further opportunity in the league.
Amare Bynum, who played forward for Ohio State in his most recent college stop, added to the collection of Hoosier connections this season by transferring to Bloomington earlier in his career. Bailey had been one of the standout players in the Atlantic 10 during his time at Davidson, but his performance dipped in Bloomington. Nevertheless, his unique skill set and potential keep him on NBA scouts’ radars. He has joined the Phoenix Suns on a Summer League contract, giving him a path back into the league’s summer competition.
Another returnee with strong Indiana roots is Luke Goode. The only former Hoosier in this year’s cohort who didn’t play for Indiana last season, Goode spent the previous year with the Lakers’ G-League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers. He is currently on a standard G-League contract but was selected to participate in this year’s Summer League as part of a broader effort to maximize exposure and refine his game against top competition.
This year’s Summer League scene therefore features a strong Indiana presence, with Wilkerson, DeVries, Alexis, Bailey, Goode, and others continuing to showcase their talents on a national stage. As the Summer League unfolds, fans will get to see how these former Hoosiers translate college experience into professional opportunities, whether through Exhibit-10 deals, G-League assignments, or direct NBA summer rosters.

As the activity progresses, more updates will follow on which of these players secure further NBA opportunities, continue to develop their games, and potentially earn spots on regular-season rosters. With a mix of former Indiana standouts and others connected to the Hoosier program, this Summer League promises to be a compelling showcase of talent and potential.
