​After remaining undefeated with a Week 3 win over Florida State this past Saturday night, did the Alabama Crimson Tide move in the latest ESPN Football Power Index (FPI) rankings?As of Sunday, Sept. 20, Alabama remains the nation’s No. 7 overall team, per ESPN’s FPI, with a rating of 22.5. The Crimson Tide also remain the third-highest ranked SEC team behind only Texas (28.1) and Georgia (27.1).Following the win over Florida State, ESPN’s FPI also now projects Alabama’s win-loss record at 9.4-2.9, and gives the Crimson Tide a 3.3% chance to win out in the regular season, rising slightly from a week ago. Alabama also has a 12.6% chance to win the SEC, per ESPN’s FPI, as well as 59% to make the College Football Playoff and 5.8% to win the national championship. The Crimson Tide will return to action inside Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday, Sept. 26, against South Carolina.
