Almost certainly Mizzou’s most high-profile outgoing transfer this past offseason, Wilson is heading to last year’s national runner-up to help replace two elite edge rushers in Reuben Bain and Akheem Mesidor. He is expected to start for the Hurricanes.Beau Pribula, QB: Virginia. Pribula has been named the starting quarterback for the Hoos in 2026, beating out Pitt transfer Eli Holstein for the job. You can watch the former Tiger in Week 0, as UVA faces NC State this coming Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPN.Marvin Burks Jr., S: Wisconsin. Burks, one of the more surprising portal entrants of this past window, is the Badgers’ projected starting field safety this year.Marquis Johnson, WR: Mississippi State. The first player on this list that Mizzou will face this season, the speedy transfer is expected to start for the Bulldogs this season, per the Clarion Ledger. The Tigers go to Starkville, Mississippi, for a game on Sept. 26.Joshua Manning, WR: Kansas State. Manning went across the western border for his senior season, and he’s expected to start and be a top pass-catching target in new head coach Collin Klein’s offense.Keiton Jones, OG: Kansas State. An impressive-looking rookie for the Tigers, Jones looks likely to start at right guard for the Wildcats as a sophomore.Mose Phillips III, S: Oklahoma State. The safety is expected to be part of the rotation for new coach Eric Morris in Stillwater.Javion Hilson, EDGE: Virginia Tech. Hilson was Mizzou’s top signing in the Class of 2025. He does not appear to be a projected rotation member for James Franklin’s first year with the Hokies.Marquise Davis, RB: Louisville.
