Neemias Queta was a breakout performer for the Boston Celtics last season. Stepping into the starting role, Queta proved himself as one of the more reliable bigs in the NBA, earning himself a four-year $56 million contract as a result. However, Queta will face a new level of competition in Boston following the team’s addition of Mitchell Robinson earlier this summer. As we near the start of the Celtics’ training camp, both Queta and Robinson will likely be competing for a starting role within the rotation. In a recent episode of ‘The Celtics Chronicle’ podcast, hosts Adam Taylor and Billy Calabrese broke down the big man battle for both a starting role and a position within the closing lineup. They discussed Robinson’s advantage when rebounding, along with his injury issues and a potential load management plan, while also touching on Queta’s upside and limitations and the curveball Garza can provide. You can watch the full discussion by clicking on the embedded video below.Watch or listen to the “Celtics Chronicle” podcast on:YouTube: https://bit.ly/3QnlPcSSpotify: https://bit.ly/4gCWSaXApple: https://bit.ly/4wXHpaBThis article originally appeared on Celtics Wire: Who will be the Boston Celtics’ starting big man next season?
