The Raiders’ top target in 2025 was Tre Tucker, who piled up 696 receiving yards to lead the team. Meanwhile, superstar tight end Brock Bowers battled injuries enough to appear in only 12 games, yet he still finished just 16 yards behind the team’s leading receiver with 680 yards. As the 2026 season approaches, either Kirk Cousins or Fernando Mendoza could be under center for Las Vegas, and they will be fortunate to have Bowers as a focal point of the offense. His status makes him the clear favorite to pace the Raiders in all major receiving categories in 2026, but a key question remains: who will join him as the second-leading receiver?
The 2025 season exposed some gaps in the Raiders’ supporting cast. Jakobi Meyers, who had been a steady contributor, ended up third on the team in receiving yards with 352 before being traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars after seven games. In free agency, Las Vegas inked wide receiver Jalen Nailor to a three-year, $35 million deal, a noteworthy investment for a player who had never surpassed 444 receiving yards in a single season. The front office clearly believes Nailor can elevate his production now that he isn’t competing with the kinds of players like Justin Jefferson or Jordan Addison on the same roster. Nailor represents a strong, underappreciated candidate to lead the Raiders in receptions in 2026.
In addition to Nailor, Ashton Jeanty is expected to contribute to the passing game, with hopes that sophomores Jack Bech and Dont’e Thornton Jr. will play larger roles in the aerial attack. Nevertheless, Tucker remains the most dependable bet to finish as Las Vegas’s second-leading receiver behind Bowers, given his established production and role. The real test for the offense will be how well the rest of the receiving corps complements Bowers and Tucker, and whether the unit can rise to a higher level in 2026 than it did in 2025.
As the Raiders look ahead, the emphasis will be on building a more complete receiving group around Brock Bowers. If Nailor, Jeanty, Bech, Thornton, and Tucker can deliver consistent contributions, Las Vegas could push its aerial production to new heights. The key will be minimizing injuries, maximizing playmaking opportunities, and sustaining efficiency across the passing game. If the collective can improve in 2026, the Raiders could find themselves with a more balanced and potent offense, capable of supporting Bowers as the undisputed centerpiece while Tucker and the others provide the necessary supplementary threats.
