It’s a tale of two vibes going into this matchup as the Rams lost to their division rival San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, while the Giants beat their division rival in the Dallas Cowboys. Who are you picking to come out the winner in Week 2?For the Rams, they looked mostly off and or bad in Week 1. They looked adequate for maybe about a quarter and half, but for more than half the game, the 49ers beat the snot out of the Rams. How will L.A. respond? Sean McVay can keep talking about how the 49ers game would have looked different had the Rams scored on the 1-yard line, but the Rams didn’t score, and SF totally took the game over after L.A.‘s failure at the one. The Rams will likely need to have a much better offense against the Giants if they hope to win. They’ll need a better defense and special teams too. There’s a lot for the Rams to get right. For the Giants, they looked great all-in all during their win over Dallas. To be fair, the Cowboys didn’t look great. They made mistakes, and were as sloppy as the Rams in some ways, but you can’t take away that the Giants took advantage, played more physical and looked like a real NFC contender in Week 1.Will the Giants ride that momentum to another big primetime win? It’s any given Sunday, or in this case Monday.
