As the offseason progresses, many seasoned veterans are weighing 2026 offers while avoiding OTAs and other summer activities. Veteran All-Pro Von Miller is no exception, still searching for a new home as he enters his 15th season. Which team might land him?
Analyst predicts Rams as a destination for 8-time Pro Bowler Von Miller. In a Bleacher Report piece on likely landing spots, Kristopher Knox suggested Miller could return to his former team, the Los Angeles Rams, with whom he won Super Bowl LVI. “Miller appeared in just 37 percent of defensive snaps in 2025 but racked up nine sacks, six tackles for loss, and 19 quarterback pressures,” Knox wrote. “He’d be a valuable addition to a defense that’s ready to chase another Super Bowl.” Although Miller’s 2025 squad, the Washington Commanders, struggled defensively, he remained one of the few reliable pressure-makers on the team. During his time in Washington, Miller posted a 73.6 impact score on PFN’s EDGE Impact Metric, second on the roster behind Jacob Martin, who, despite recording three fewer sacks, earned a 74.4 impact score.

Knox noted that Miller has expressed a desire to return to the Broncos, but a move back to Los Angeles makes even more sense. “Denver has a deep pass-rushing rotation that notched 68 sacks in 2025,” he said. “While the Rams traded for Myles Garrett earlier this offseason and moved Jared Verse in the deal, adding Miller behind Garrett and Byron Young would be a smart fit for L.A.” Knox’s reasoning is solid. The Rams boast a formidable defensive front led by Garrett, yet their depth could be improved.
Bringing in Miller, who thrived in a rotational role with the Commanders last season, could be a low-risk, high-reward addition for the Rams. It’s understandable why Miller views Denver as his preferred destination, returning to the franchise that drafted him second overall in 2011 would be a fairytale ending. Still, if he’s chasing another Lombardi Trophy, the Rams should be at the top of his list. In 2025, the Rams fell just short of the Super Bowl, losing 31-27 to the eventual champion Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game. It appears General Manager Les Snead is aiming to make a bold push for 2026, evidenced by offseason moves like acquiring Garrett and Trent McDuffie. Signing Miller could be the final touch that puts Los Angeles over the top.
