Here are all of the Yankees’ picks from the 2026 MLB Draft. The Arkansas southpaw appeared in 20 games over three seasons with the Razorbacks, though injuries hampered his early career before he underwent elbow surgery in 2024. Dietz rebounded in 2026 to make 16 starts, compiling a 3.57 ERA and a 1.191 WHIP across 85.2 innings. He yielded 40 runs (34 earned) on 71 hits and 31 walks while recording 131 strikeouts. His 13.8 strikeouts per nine innings placed him among the top 10 in all of collegiate baseball. Standing 6-foot-3, the southpaw was picked by the Yankees after spending time with Ferry Fox (BC) in Canada. Duncan, a highly-touted prospect, suffered an elbow injury that necessitated Tommy John surgery in 2025. He appeared in the Futures Showcase, where his fastball sat at 93 mph and reached 95 mph. Duncan has committed to Vanderbilt.
MLB.com notes that Duncan features a true three-pitch mix and has the potential for three above-average-to-plus offerings in the future. He also shows a knack for throwing strikes and for blending all of his pitches effectively. The Oklahoma product posted a .302/.399/.522 line with an OPS of .921, along with 13 home runs and 11 doubles across 65 games. This past season, the 20-year-old played for Cal State Fullerton, delivering a .346/.441/.633 slash line with an OPS of 1.074, plus 14 home runs and 45 RBIs.
Harrison, 21, transferred to Texas A&M from St. Mary’s after his freshman year. In three NCAA seasons, he has posted a .292/.445/.565 slash line and belted 30 home runs in 140 collegiate games while contributing power and patience at the plate. These traits have underscored his advanced approach at the plate and his ability to drive runs in college competition, supporting his projection as a potential impact bat in professional ranks.
