Yankees Draft: 2026 Rounds 11-15 pick analysis

By admin — In News — July 12, 2026

Day 2 of the MLB Draft is shaping up to be a packed session, with 16 selections on the docket for the day. After Jake walked us through the first six picks that had already been announced, reaching as far as the 10th round, I’ll take over to recap the Yankees’ next five selections and what they might signal for the organization moving forward. So far, this draft has a clear tilt toward pitching for New York, as their two Day 1 choices were left-handed starters, and today’s activity continues that theme with three pitchers in the mix, including Luke Pettitte, the son of five-time World Series hero Andy Pettitte. The catching position hasn’t been ignored either, with Brendan Brock selected in the third round and Bear Harrison chosen in the fifth.
Where the Yankees go from here remains anyone’s guess, but you can follow along for live updates as each pick is announced and then come back here for deeper commentary on the newest names entering the lower levels of the minor leagues. We’ll keep an eye on how these players project, what they bring to the system, and how they might fit into the long-term plan as the organization builds its depth and potential future contributors.
